Your Role as a Receptionist with Us
As our receptionist, you are one of the most important people for our guests. Your passion for making every guest experience special will shine through in everything you do. Your main responsibilities include:
- Warm Welcome: You are the first face our guests meet. Your friendly attitude and passion for guest service create an immediate positive impression.
- Check-in and Check-out: You handle the check-in and check-out process, including cash handling, smoothly and efficiently, ensuring a hassle-free experience for our guests.
- Managing Bookings and Reservations: You manage the booking process carefully and responsibly, both verbally and in writing, in Swedish, English, and preferably Finnish.
- Internal Communication: You collaborate with other departments to ensure guest needs are met.
- Information Expert: You have knowledge of the hotel and its surroundings and gladly share this information with guests to enhance their stay.
- Problem Solving: If questions or issues arise, you are ready to act quickly and professionally to resolve them.
- Customer Focus: You always strive to exceed guest expectations and create memorable moments.
Qualifications
To thrive in the role of receptionist with us, you should have:
- A genuine passion for guest service
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships
- Language skills: Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written; Finnish is a plus
- Computer literacy
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
- A solution-oriented mindset and love for high-paced work
- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow
- Experience in a similar role is an advantage, but not required
Employment Terms
- Employment: Full-time (100%)
- Workplace: Haparanda Stadshotell
- Salary: According to collective agreement
- Start date: By agreement, October/November
- Duration: Seasonal employment, with the possibility of permanent employment
