Our wish is to make your visit with us a feast for both your eyes and tastebuds. Here at Haparanda Stadshotell we pride ourselves by using only fresh and local produce as far as possible.

To be able to do this we adjust the produce that we use to follow the chaning seasons.

We preserve the quality of our produce and make good use of it by carefully handling it. Frying temeratures, poaching and simmering is adjusted to deliver meat, fish and vegetables tender, fresh and crispy to your table with the utmost tender, love and care, adding flavor with tradition and accuracy. All our food is made from scratch without adding any unnecessary additives.

Our team of chefs works to bring you a beautiful harmony of tastes, quality as well as a feast for the eyes. Our team of waiters providing a nice atomsphere, environment and good service.

1st class dining room

Ancient Tornedalen tradition is the bearing theme of our turn-of-the-century dining hall with seating for over 100 guests.

Spend some time inspecting the splendidly restored marbling by master painter Paulus Aili.

For small parties we recommend our tastefully decorated mirror dining halls on either side of our first-class dining hall.

Festivities Room

Our distinguished heritage festivites room is the right place for the “party” or the anniversary.

A room which is suitable up to 100 persons with a tasteful framework as walnut panel, crystal chandeliers on the wall and in the ceiling and stucco in gold.
