Breakfast Host

As a Breakfast Host, you set the tone for our guests’ day. With a warm smile and a strong sense of service, you create a pleasant and welcoming atmosphere in our breakfast dining room.

You are the morning host — the one who ensures that everything runs smoothly, that the buffet is inviting, and that each guest receives a positive start to their stay.

Your responsibilities include:

• Preparing and replenishing the breakfast buffet
• Welcoming guests and assisting them when needed
• Keeping the dining area clean, tidy, and well-organized throughout the breakfast service
• Clearing tables, washing dishes, and restocking the buffet with clean plates, glasses, cutlery, etc.
• Collaborating with colleagues to ensure quality and efficiency
• Contributing to a positive atmosphere and professional guest experience
• The breakfast host role can be combined with housekeeping duties

Haparanda Stadshotell welcomes guests from all over the world who come to experience our unique and exotic destination in Swedish Lapland. Daily communication in English is a natural part of the role. Additional language skills — such as Italian, finnish or other international languages — are considered a merit and highly appreciated in guest interactions.

We’re looking for someone who:

• Is energetic in the mornings, positive, and genuinely interested in service
• Has an eye for detail and enjoys creating order
• Is flexible and able to work early mornings, weekdays, and weekends
• Speaks Swedish and English (additional languages are an advantage)
• Has previous experience in hotels or restaurants (not required but beneficial)
